Saturday, May 12, 2007 the Conneaut Valley LEO Club of the Conneaut Valley Lions will be sponsoring a dodgeball tournament at the Springboro Community Center. The tournament will consist of coed teams of six in two age divisions. The High-School Division is for grades 9-12 and ages 14-19. The High-School Division competes from 10 AM through Noon. The Youth Division is for grades 5-8 and ages 10-14. The Youth Division competes from 1 PM through 3 PM.

Competition will be double-elimination format and registration is limited to eight teams per division. There will be prizes to the winners of each age division and the $30 registration fee includes a pizza lunch. Lunch is served for both divisions during the Noon hour.

You must pre-register for the tournament. Registration slots will be filled in order by teams completing all of the registration forms and payment.

The Conneaut Valley LEO Club is a service oriented youth group sponsored by the Conneaut Valley Lions and Chartered through Lions International, the world's largest service organization. The LEOs' motto is "Having Fun While Helping Others." The LEOs have performed community service projects ranging from a Christmas toy drive for victims of hurricane Katrina, hats and sun glasses to help prevent blindness in third world countries, fundraising to support the blind leaderdog training program, highway cleanup with the blind kids from the Keystone blind association, and fundraising to help local flood victims. The LEOs are actively looking for new members to replace graduating seniors.

To participate in the Dodgeball Tournament, download the Dodgeball Tournament Registration Form and the Release of Liability Form. These forms in are Adobe Acrobat format. Return the forms to the Conneaut Valley LEO Club care of Crystal Run. Here are the dodgeball rules for the tournament.

Pizza will be supplied by Buckeley's Pizza in Conneautville. Please remember the registration fee includes a Pizza lunch. It should be a lot of fun for only $5 per team member.
